Return Policy     

Your business is appreciated.  If you are not completely satisfied with an item, simply return it in its original, unused condition within 30 days of the original shipping date for an exchange or refund.  A refund is subject to a 20% restocking fee.  This does not include shipping and handling charges.  Contact us for Return Instructions; you must include a copy of your original invoice with the return. 

  

PLEASE NOTE:

We do not accept returns for custom-made or customized items, clearance or sale items, or special order items.  We do not accept returns of books, VHS or DVDs, or opened consumable products (e.g., supplements, additives, liquids).  We do not refund the shipping costs paid nor return shipping costs.

Blankets, sheets, saddle pads and horse boots are returnable within 10 days and are subject to a 20% restocking fee. 

Returned items must be unused, showing no signs of use or wear.  Items must be returned in their original, undamaged packaging.  If an item is returned that is not saleable as new, the item(s) will be returned to you at your expense without refund.

To return an item that has been drop-shipped directly to you from our vendors, please contact us for return shipping policy and instructions.  Most vendors require that they issue a return authorization (RA) number and will not accept nor credit returns without an RA number

To return an item shipped from our facility, please contact us by telephone or email to receive an RA number.  Be sure to indicate this number both inside the package and on the outside of the package for appropriate routing and credit.  Please include a copy of your invoice, a brief explanation of the reason for the return, and whether you would like a refund or an exchange.

Items that have been previously replaced because they were defective, damaged or incorrect are not returnable.

For your protection, we suggest that you ship your returns via FedEx, UPS, DHL, or USPS (United States Postal Service) with delivery confirmation and insurance.  This protects you in the event the package is lost or damaged in transit.  We do not accept liability for lost, damaged or misdirected shipments.

Please allow 7-10 business days for your return to be received and inspected.  If the item(s) have been returned in new, unused condition, we will issue a credit to the same credit card that was entered when you placed your order.  We will email you with a credit transaction indentification number and the amount credited.  Most credit card companies will post credits within one or two billing cycles. 

 

Damaged Shipments

If any item in  your order is damaged upon receipt, please save the original box/carton, any/all packing material, and the damaged item.  Do not return the merchandise!  Notify us immediately so we can instruct you on the proper handling of the damaged merchandise.  This will help us to replace the item(s) as quickly as possible. 

 

Cancelled Orders

We are not liable for delays due to product availability, shipment delays, etc.  If you choose to cancel your order prior to shipment, a 10% cancellation fee will apply.

 

Address Correction Fee

Please check your order details before submitting payment for your order.  If the shipping address you provide is not deliverable by our shipper, you will be charged $15.00 for shipment redirection/address correction.  Also, Around The Barrel Tack is not liable for shipments delivered to an incorrect address you provide.  If a package is returned to us as undeliverable, you will be charged for the address correction fee plus the reshipping charges.

What does "Additional Freight Charges" mean, and how much extra does it cost?
